Cargill Investor Services expands into Italy

Cargill Investor Services, the futures and options broking unit of commodities trading company Cargill, has joined the Italian Derivatives Market (IDEM) - part of the Borsa Italiana - as a general clearing member.

Cargill said the decision to join the exchange is part of its drive to provide customers with a comprehensive range of European exchange-traded products.

“The decision to join IDEM was driven by customer demand,” said Marie-Hélène Crétu, director and European leader for Cargill Investor Services. “The exchange has expanded in recent years, and this trend is likely to continue. The addition of IDEM is important for our customers wishing to trade or gain remote access to this market.”
