Cazenove Capital Management's latest absolute return fund is banking on emerging economies being better investment propositions than some might think. The fund's manager, Tim Love, explains his approach to Alexander Campbell

Cazenove Capital Management, the London-based investment management company, has launched a new fund this month based on a simple proposition - that the investment community's view of the so-called emerging economies is well behind the times. With a planned £1.5 billion in assets under management, the Worldwide Absolute Return Fund will pursue a long/short strategy in developed and emerging markets, which aims to take advantage of price misalignments between stocks in the same sectors.
