Investec unveils inflation product in release of third series

Investec Structured Products has released its third series of plans, including an inflation-linked product and its latest issues in the accumulation and investment categories. In total, Investec has devised four categories for its product offerings, consisting of accumulation, investment, income and structured funds.

The latest income plan is the FTSE 100 and RPI Combination Plan 2, offering five yearly payments equivalent to 7% of initial investment, with each annual payment receiving inflation growth linked to the Retail Prices Index (RPI). Thirty-five percent of initial capital is invested in term deposits which are guaranteed at maturity, while the other 65% is invested in medium-term notes (MTN) for the capital gain element.
