BNP Paribas launches three basket linked fund for French investors
BNP Paribas has launched a new collective investment fund for retail investors in France. The Panka is capital guaranteed and linked to the performance of three separate index baskets which offer both mainstream and emerging market exposure.
The investment matures in 2013, and offers an 80% participation rate in the indexes with the best average performance. The classic basket incorporates the DJ Eurostoxx 50, the S&P 500 and the Nikkei 225. The second growth basket uses the same indexes with the addition of the Nasdaq 100 and the DJ AIG Commodity Index.
The final global basket offers exposure to emerging markets, including the CECE Traded index which is calculated from shares in the Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland, the Kospi 200
