HSBC launches FTSE and EM products to UK IFA market

HSBC has launched two new plans for the UK independent financial adviser (IFA) market. The plans offer exposure to either the FTSE 100 index or emerging market equity.

The Protected FTSE 100 Index Bonus Plan gives investors a coupon of 26.5% after three years provided that the index is at its initial recorded level or above. The plan also offers an option of five-year maturity which pays a fixed coupon of 48%. Both options are 100% capital guaranteed. The second product on offer is the Protected Global Emerging Markets Plan.

The plan is linked to the return of the HSBC Global Emerging Markets Index, which comprises the equity of 50 emerging markets companies
