The DBS Bank network spreads across Asia but the nerve centre of the bank is in Singapore, a city that continues to establish itself as a major wealth management centre in Asia, says SF Wong, managing director and head of advisory sales at the bank. Accordingly, DBS has been offering structured products to retail investors in Singapore since 2002, taking advantage of the city's growth prospects to expand its own business.
