More than two-thirds of assets invested in equity ETPs

Total global assets under management (AUM) in short and leveraged exchange-traded products (ETPs) reached $59.7 billion at the end of August - essentially unchanged from the previous month and an increase of 3% since the end of 2013, according to Boost. In terms of asset allocation in short and leveraged ETPs, equity versions are the most popular, representing 68% of AUM, followed by debt with 19% and commodities with 6%.
