Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management correctly interpreted investor demand by adapting the way if offers its exchange-traded funds (ETF) back in December 2012. Its decision to make ETFs on major equity benchmarks, such as the Dax and the Eurostoxx 50, available both in physical and synthetic formats proved successful, with the new physical replications attracting more than €400 million in assets under management (AUM) up to September. The move also opened the door to a new model of ETF provider -
