Exchange-traded fund (ETF) inflows hit a record $83 billion in April, according to London-based consultancy ETFGI, increasing assets invested globally in ETFs and exchange-traded products (ETPs) by 9.1% to a new all-time high of $2.13 trillion. There are now 4,827 ETFs and ETPs from 209 providers in existence across 9,897 listings on 56 exchanges.
