Breaking new ground

Euronext has launched the first continuously quoted structured funds manufactured by SG Asset Management Alternative Investments. The funds are linked to the CAC40 index and plans are already afoot to include other European indexes. Amanda Lee reports

European exchange Euronext has launched its first continuously quoted structured funds. The CAC40 index-linked funds are manufactured by SG Asset Management Alternative Investments, a subsidiary of Societe Generale group. The funds are listed in Paris on the new structured funds compartment of Euronext's NextTrack segment. The CAC40 is the main benchmark for Euronext Paris and contains 40 blue-chip stocks.

The new product is available in two versions: a CPPI option and a leverage option. The
