ETF Securities launches 66 short and leveraged ETCs on Deutsche Börse

ETF Securities has launched 66 short and leveraged exchange-traded commodities (ETCs) on Deutsche Börse Xetra, creating a world first for listed access to a platform of short and leveraged commodity indexes via ETCs. The 33 short and 33 leveraged ETCs add to the total of over 120 ETCs available on the Deutsche Börse. The 66 ETCs are priced off the Dow Jones-AIG Commodities Index SM indexes and comprise 23 individual commodities and 10 basket-indexes.

The short ETCs are designed to gain from falls in commodity prices and hedge commodity positions, while leveraged ETCs enable investors to gain from rising commodity prices by providing exposure with 50% less capital.
