Marlborough incorporates range of actively-managed OEIC funds of ETFs
Marlborough Fund Managers (MFM) has incorporated a range of actively managed OEIC funds of exchange traded funds (ETFs) into its brand. The range was originally launched under the MFM iFunds brand and has been offered to private client portfolios for approximately two years. Marlborough has re-branded the range and opened the funds to all Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs) in order to offer these ETFs to retail investors.
The Marlborough ETF OEIC comprises four funds: the Marlborough ETF Commodity Fund, the Absolute Return Fund, the Global Growth Fund and the Global Income Fund.
The ETFs are actively managed using a statistical model developed by iFunds to highlight areas in increasing demand. For example, the statistical model enables iFunds to analyse the performance of the entire commodity market place and rank each commodity ETF according to its risk/return profile.
