Barclays launches five new global and emerging markets ETFs
Barclays Global Investors (BGI) has launched five new international Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs). The iShares MSCI Israel, Thailand and Turkey Index Funds, listed on NYSE Arca, are the first ETFs to offer exposure to these markets, while the MSCI All Country World Index (ACWI) Index Fund and the MSCI ACWI ex-US Index Funds provide broad global exposure.
The Israel fund aims to track the MSCI Israel Capped Investable Market Index, which comprises stocks primarily traded on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange. The Thailand fund tracks the MSCI Thailand Investable Market Index, comprising stocks primarily traded on the Stock Exchange of Thailand, while the Turkey fund tracks the MSCI Turkey Investable Market Index, consisting of stocks traded mainly on the Istanbul Stock Exchange.
