Suspended AIG-backed ETCs resume trading in London

The 113 suspended exchange-traded commodities (ETCs) issued by ETF Securities and backed by American International Group (AIG) resumed trading on the London Stock Exchange (LSE) on Monday, September 22. The LSE suspended the ETCs on September 16 after market-makers refused to price them due to concerns over the settlement of contracts with AIG. Following the suspension, ETF Securities was in discussion with market-makers and exchanges across Europe to keep them informed of liquidity issues
