BNP Paribas (BNPP) showed this year that its commitment to green goes beyond the colours in its logo. In September, it teamed up with the World Bank to sell €50 million of what it calls the first fully ethical structured product to BNP Paribas Cardif, its insurance affiliate. Later that month, it closed another deal with a European pension fund worth €10 million.
