Equity-linked structured products have benefited from a surge of interest in the asset class, according to third-quarter results from Société Générale and BNP Paribas (BNPP).

The SocGen report for the third quarter, published on November 7, shows the bank achieved revenues of €675 million ($902 million) from structured and flow products within ‘equity activities' this quarter – an increase of 11% compared with this point in 2012. Both structured and flow "turned in a solid commercial performance
