Responding to requests from its members for guidance on the regulation of retail structured products, the International Organization of Securities Commissions (Iosco) released its consultation report on the topic on April 18.

The report, over a year in the making, offers up a preliminary regulatory ‘toolkit' for members, with suggested approaches for the regulation of retail structured products across jurisdictions. The working group analysed data from 26 countries and regions for the report
