HSBC has issued a four-year product in the US that is linked to the performance of a basket of three equity indexes and one emerging markets index fund. The structure is classified as a digital payoff and offers a fixed return if the basket is equal to or higher than its initial level on the final valuation date. Investors also have the chance to participate in further growth above the digital level without any restrictions on the upside. Capital is not protected if the basket finishes below 90%
