People: BNP Paribas loses key sales heads

Eric le Brusq and Amaury des Deserts exit BNP; Credit structuring takes a hit at UBS; Nizam Hamid leaves Lyxor; Tobin rejoins Barclays in wealth management

Eric le Brusq, global head of sales at BNP Paribas, and Amaury des Deserts, head of sales for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (Emea), are leaving the bank to pursue other opportunities. The departures are not part of a cost-cutting exercise at BNP, according to sources away from the bank. Le Brusq is leaving to pursue a personal project, according to a BNP official.

Le Brusq joined the bank as deputy head of equities and derivatives in 2005, reporting to Remi Frank, then global head of sales
