Jonathan Boos, executive director in equity derivatives at UBS in Stamford, Connecticut, has been made redundant, according to New York-based sources. Some of his responsibilities in the US will be taken on by Vincenzo Dilullo.

Further redundancies at the bank's equity derivatives operation include those of Matthew Pain, Yoko Omori and Satoko Hara from the teams in Hong Kong and Tokyo.
