Bank of Montreal offers plethora of reverse convertibles in the US

Thirty-five new structured products were listed with the US SEC yesterday, led by a glut of supply from Bank of Montreal

Bank of Montreal (BoM) stormed to the front of the queue in terms of structured product supply in the US on March 15, registering a whopping 23 reverse convertibles with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The Canadian bank topped a list of new issuance that included an unleveraged return on the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets Index Fund from JP Morgan and the same structure from Barclays Bank, which also produced a leveraged return note based on the S&P 500.
