Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) has issued the five-and-a-half-year Outlook Selector Growth Plan, which is linked to the FTSE 100 Index. The product comes in three versions to suit different expectations of future growth in the index.

All three versions are capital protected if held to maturity, assuming no credit event has occurred. The return of capital is not dependent on the performance of the index, and is returned in full to the investor at the end of the investment term even if the final
