Wealth managers bring in the cash

Fixed-income was the fastest growing asset category in exchange-traded products (ETPs) last year, with assets under management (AUM) increasing by 24.4%, or $50.6 billion, according to a BlackRock report. The expansion was driven largely by US-listed products, with "investors in European-listed products remaining on the sidelines due to sovereign and bank debt concerns".
