BAML bumps up rates with Reynolds

Bank of America Merrill Lynch has hired Craig Reynolds as head of North American rates and made internal moves to beef up its rates business in Europe

Craig Reynolds will join Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BAML) as managing director and head of North America rates trading in August. Reynolds will be based in New York and report to David Gu, head of global rates and currencies (GRC) at the US bank. The appointment comes along with internal moves that have seen Peter Antico become head of global G10 currency trading, while Chris Hodson will relocate to London and become head of rates trading for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
