Nomura launches India Local Government Bond index

The India Local Government Bond index is a tracking tool that investors can replicate in order to generate higher portfolio returns from liquid bonds.

Nomura offers exposure to India’s $510 billion government bonds market

Nomura has launched an index for use by investors wishing to track India’s $510 billion government bond market.

The Indian Local Government Bond index measures the total return performance of Indian government bonds denominated in Indian rupees and is the first in Nomura’s Asia ex-Japan series measuring the bond market performance of individual countries in the region.
