Fulton says recent advances have made the ETF possible

Invesco PowerShares is planning to launch the world's first exchange-traded fund (ETF) to offer access to the leveraged loans market.

The Powershares Senior Loan Portfolio ETF will track the S&P/LSTA US Leveraged Loan 100 Index, which consists of the largest US loans based on market weightings, spreads and interest payments. The index has been in existence for several years but it has not been possible to base an ETF on it until now.
