Market for exchange-traded products forecast to top $2 trillion next year

Blackrock predicts that by the end of 2012, ETFs alone will have reached $2 trillion in assets under management as more investors embrace the funds and more exposures become available.

Global ETF volumes set to soar

Global assets under management (AUM) in exchange-traded products (ETPs) will hit $2 trillion by the start of 2012 and growth will continue at an annual rate of 20-30% over the next three years, predicts Blackrock.
