Deutsche Bank launches hedge fund ETF in London

Deutsche Bank's London-listed ETF provides access to the returns of real hedge funds rather than a replication strategy

Deutsche Bank has listed an exchange-traded fund (ETF) which gives investors exposure to equity long-short and equity market neutral hedge fund managers.

Tracking the performance of 17 hedge funds from 13 alternative investment managers, the db x-trackers db Strategies Hedge Fund Index ETF complements the existing db x-trackers db Hedge Fund Index ETF. The previous ETF was launched in 2009 and now has assets under management of $1.5 billion (just over €1 billion).
