After a weighty issuance programme in August in the US public markets, Exportfinans has slipped out of the top three, by notional, replaced by Bank of America. Barclays has dominated in the US in September, producing nearly 30% of the supply, while taking second place in the UK market, by number of products issued.

Investec Structured Products again issued the most products in the UK market in September, taking a near 25% market share. The issuer remains the most prolific in the UK, followed by Barclays Bank and Gilliat Financial Solutions.

The top three issuers in the US are more varied although both Barclays and Goldman Sachs appeared last month as well, in reverse positions. Bank of America takes the place of Eksportfinans, which was the second largest issuer by notional in the US in September.
