Are UK investors becoming more comfortable with risk? Structured products launched in the UK during the past two weeks have featured less capital protection and a slight shift away from the FTSE 100 index as the favoured underlying.

Emerging markets remain in demand, with Barclays Wealth launching a new version of its Emerging Markets Optimiser (EMO). The six-year investment is linked to the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets, an exchange-traded fund that provides exposure to 21 emerging markets. EMO
