Barclays Capital has launched a tradable subset rule-based index that provides investors with diversified exposure to local currency inflation-linked debt from emerging markets.

The Emerging Markets Tradable Government Inflation-linked Bond Index (Emtil) is intended to be used as a benchmark for investors to track their funds and fixed-income assets. “These tradable indexes are constructed in a rules-based manner to select the most liquid securities from emerging markets inflation-linked debt
