US wrap: Accelerated growth still popular with cautious investors

The latest offering consists of two accelerated growth products, a structure which is gaining popularity in the US as investors look for yield and protection barriers. However, bankers say that investors are still very cautious and appetite is mainly for principal-protected products, though all issuance is slowing down if recent volumes are anything to go by.

Exposure to the MSCI Emerging Markets index is offered through both products, although the UBS product accesses it via the fund tracking
