FTSE partners with Borsa Italiana for two Italian indexes

FTSE Group has joined forces with Italian exchange Borsa Italiana to build two indexes for use in the Italian market.

The creation of the FTSE MIB Dividend Index follows FTSE’s takeover of the MIB, Italy’s blue-chip index. The index represents the cumulative value of the dividends declared by the companies that make up the underlying FTSE MIB index. It is designed to provide a basis for derivatives, tracker funds, exchange-traded funds and other structured products.
