November saw the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) take action on the first Lehman Brothers-related non-minibond complaint. The case is the first in a 765-strong list, and was against an individual, who has been disciplined by the regulator.

The HKMA has referred 334 Lehman-related non-minibond cases to the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) for further action to facilitate its investigations into banks.

By November 19, the HKMA had received almost 22,000 complaints concerning Lehman
