Barclays stockbrokers launches FTSE linked investment note

Barclays stockbrokers has launched the five-year FTSE 100 Accelerated Return Investment Note. The note is linked to the performance of the FTSE 100 index, and is traded on the London Stock Exchange. It offers a one-off return equal to 75% at maturity if the index is equal to, or higher than the initial level.

“This investment note is designed for investors looking to invest in the FTSE 100 index over the long term while making use of their tax-free allowance,” says Amy Nauiokas, managing director and head of Barclays Stockbrokers. “The investment note offers another avenue for investment during ISA season for the tax-savvy among us, and, as with other notes in the range, gives investors the flexibility of buying and selling through Barclays Stockbrokers on a daily basis.”
