The chairman of the Loan Market Association, also leveraged finance head at CSFB, talks to Matthew Attwood about the path to recovery for the beleaguered loan market

David Slade might have been forgiven for gratefully relinquishing his chairmanship of the Loan Market Association after the first year of his tenure. He became chairman in July 2007, just as the loan market was starting to register the effects of the crisis in credit.
