LMA backs EHYA guidelines for high-yield issuers

The Loan Market Association has come out in support of the market practice recommendations for high-yield issuers made by the European High Yield Association.

The EHYA recommendations, first released in January 2007, encourage high-yield issuers to disclose terms of senior debt facilities during offerings, and to update investors on any changes to those facilities.

"As the trade association for the syndicated loan markets we recognise that greater disclosure aids liquidity and encourages growth,"
