Merrill Lynch takes the CTA route with BlueCrest fund partnership

Merrill Lynch has linked with commodity trading adviser BlueCrest Capital Management to create a fund that complies with the Undertaking for Collective Investments in Transferable Securities (Ucits III) directive, based on a trend-based systematic strategy. Merrill offers the Ucits III capability and the electronic platform for the Luxembourg-based fund and BlueTrend fund management skills.
