Legal & General's assets under management for its structured products unit have just reached £1 billion. The UK-focused business cites plain vanilla products and high levels of service before, during and after sales as its formula for success. Shamillia Sivathambu reports

In the 10 years since London-based financial services company Legal & General (L&G) entered the structured products space, it has brought out several exotic products, including some linked to a basket of indexes and products geared with no protection.
