Standard & Poor's tunes in to most popular global themes
Standard & Poor's (S&P) has launched the new S&P Global Thematic Index Series. The investable index series includes the S&P Global Clean Energy index, the S&P Global Water index and the S&P Global Infrastructure index.
"Clean energy, water and infrastructure have evolved as major investment themes," says David Blitzer, London-based managing director and chairman of the S&P's index committee. "Initially, S&P is launching three indexes in this series, but we will be watching as other themes take
