Lyxor keeps a cool head

Lyxor Asset Management (Lyxor AM) has been used to enjoying its position as the leading structured asset management platform in Europe. But the recent arrival of Crédit Agricole Structured Asset Management (Casam) could threaten its long standing dominance. Crédit Agricole Asset Management (CAAM) and Calyon, Crédit Agricole Group's Corporate and Investment Banking division, formed a 50/50 joint venture to create Casam, which made its first official foray into the market on September 22 this
