Barclays Capital (BarCap) has chosen to list its new iPath exchange-traded note (ETN) on the New York-based American Stock Exchange (Amex). The note is linked to the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) S&P 500 BuyWrite index, and the Amex specialist unit is Susquehanna Investment Group.

iPath ETNs track a reference index, trade on an exchange, offer tax efficiency and secondary market liquidity, and boast low fees. Until now, BarCap has listed all its iPath notes on the New York Stock Exchange
