Barclays joins scramble to list on Warsaw exchange

Barclays Bank has launched a new product on the Warsaw Stock Exchange (WSE), as the Polish secondary market provider continues to post triple-digit increases in issuance volumes.

Barclays listed 566,317 Trendspotter index bonds on the exchange on March 11, priced at 100 Polish zloty (EUR28) each. On March 27, the WSE board approved the exchange trading of the series 402 notes issued by the British bank. The notes mature on March 13, 2011.

The latest statistics published by the exchange show that
