DGCX to launch commodity indices

The Dubai Gold & Commodities Exchange (DGCX) will use its futures prices to create commodity indices for the global investment banking and fund industry in the Middle Eastern region.

DGCX will partner with German derivatives service provider Structured Solutions to launch a series of benchmark indices that will track commodity underlyings. The exchange is the first in the region to use its futures prices for the creation of indices.
