BNPP back in dealer top three for FX forwards with mutuals
Deutsche Bank, HSBC hit by cuts at Vanguard and Pimco in Q2
BNP Paribas found itself back in the top-three dealers for foreign exchange forwards with mutual funds in the second quarter of this year – for the first time since the start of 2022 – while cuts in positions from Pimco and Vanguard saw Deutsche Bank and HSBC tumble down the rankings.
The French bank had regularly been a top-three contender since Risk.net’s Counterparty Radar data service began aggregating industry disclosures at the start of 2020, but it slid down the rankings from Q2 2022
