Crypto market-maker B2C2 weighs US swap dealer registration

Isda AGM: Move would see firm become second crypto trading outfit to obtain designation

B2C2 is considering registering as a swap dealer in the US, which would bring one of the largest market-makers of crypto derivatives a step closer to the traditional dealer community.

“We’re a global company, so we are registered and regulated across various jurisdictions already, and we’re definitely looking at becoming a swap dealer,” said Nicola White, president of B2C2’s US business, at the International Swaps and Derivatives Association’s annual general meeting in Madrid today (May 12).
