With a February 12, 2014 deadline for derivatives reporting looming under the European Market Infrastructure Regulation, (Emir), is the buy-side prepared?

Now that exchange-traded derivatives (ETDs) must also be reported in February 2014, an even greater burden has been placed on market participants because of the sheer volume of trades required to be reported to trade repositories. Aima believes that there are particular issues reporting trades "subject to the rules of a trading venue and executed in compliance with those rules", as noted in
