Day one
The first presentation of the conference came from Peter Kreuzberg, managing director of German firm RWE Trading, who set out how energy trading has developed at RWE into a sophisticated ‘risk pool’ model. Kreuzberg described the trading company’s evolution from a ‘disintegrated prop trader’ – whereby trading decisions are fully independent from the asset
