ANFP Outsources Operations To Bankers Trust Risk Group

ONE year on from the collapse of Baring Brothers, details have emerged of how the ill-fated bank's former derivatives joint venture, Abbey National Financial Products, coped with Barings' abrupt departure from the markets.

The London-based derivative products company has signed a three-year outsourcing contract with Bankers Trust's risk management operations group, according to ANFP officials.

Under the contract, Bankers is providing ANFP with trading and risk management systems for its entire
