Former CME Group energy head Morsches to leave

Gary Morsches, the New York-based former head of energy at CME Group, is to leave in early 2015, following the appointment of Martin Fraenkel as global head of energy

Gary Morsches, the New York-based managing director who ran CME Group's energy business from 2011 until earlier this year, will leave the exchange in early 2015 as part of a broader reshuffle at the company, sources say.

The news comes after CME Group announced in September that it was appointing Martin Fraenkel as its new global head of energy, responsible for the exchange's energy business both in the US and internationally. Fraenkel, who is based in London, joined CME Group in 2013 and
